The Open Heart Path: A Deep Meditation Retreat with Susan Piver

August 25–September 1, 2025

Buddhist Path, On Land Retreats

Program Description:

Please join New York Times best selling author and Buddhist teacher Susan Piver for a week of meditation practice within a supportive community.

This program brings together three important components of the spiritual journey:

  • connecting with your own wakefulness through the practice of shamatha-vipashyana meditation;
  • spending time reflecting on the nature of your personal journey;
  • and feeling the quiet but powerful support that comes from sitting with others.

In the Buddhist view these three jewels—Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha—are the supports needed to create a steady practice and discover the next steps for our personal journey.

Suitable for beginners as well as experienced practitioners. Includes complete meditation instruction, daily yoga, and an introduction to Buddhist chants. The Refuge Vow will also be offered for those who are interested.
