- Other types of retreat may also be considered – we welcome a wide range of groups, retreat types, and contemplative traditions on our campus.
Group Retreat Spaces
We have a variety of retreat spaces appropriate for all sizes of groups. Whether you’re teaching a workshop of 35, holding an educational workshop for 75, or hosting an event for 150, your guests never have to leave our self-contained campus.
As a renter, you will have the exclusive use of your group space. This also includes the use of equipment such as yoga mats, straps, blocks, and blankets, meditation cushions, chairs, and A/V equipment. Each rental space also has the option of being stocked with coffee and tea for the duration of your retreat.
Dining at Drala Mountain Center
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the cost of lodging. All meals are served in the dining room or dining tent (Summer) daily. You will be provided with Drala Mountain Center’s standard meal schedule prior to your group’s arrival.
Our kitchen provides three options for our guests: Omnivore, Vegetarian, and Vegan/Wheat-Free. A Vegetarian and/or Vegan/Wheat-Free option will be available at all meals. Meat is served at some meals, but is not guaranteed at every meal.
The Kitchen is not able to accommodate special dietary needs beyond these three options. We also offer a salad bar with both lunch and dinner, daily. The salad bar is always stocked with fresh vegetables and a protein option for vegans and non-vegans alike.
If guests have a more specific or restrictive diet they will need to bring their own food supplements to ensure proper nutrition during their stay. Limited refrigerator space for such supplements is available. A microwave and hot water are always available.
We cannot provide direct kitchen access to any participants as this is against Colorado State Health Code.
In addition, at Drala Mountain Center we grow a variety of our very own fresh and delicious vegetables on site in our greenhouse. Visitors are welcome to visit the greenhouse and explore!
Food Allergies
In order to support allergy safety, our kitchen will always note key dietary allergens, as well as allergens noted at registration on the menu, so that anyone eating our offered food knows what is contained in each dish. In the case of severe allergies, please be sure this is reported at registration.
Please keep in mind that any known allergy is the responsibility of the person with the allergy.
Snacks
Tea, coffee, milk, plant-based milks, fresh fruit, and toast are available throughout the day in our dining facilities. Should you require something specific, please let your rental representative know.
Drala Mountain Center Gift Store carries treats, and basic products that people often forget at home, like toothpaste and flashlights, in addition to DMC merchandise, books, and practice materials.
Additional Food & Beverage Needs for Groups
Snacks, desserts, and warm drinks are available on request for an additional cost, and can be delivered to your program space. Please let us know in advance if you have any specific meal, dessert, or snack requests so that we can plan accordingly. Depending on the nature of the request, there may be an additional charge.
Drala Mountain Center does not sell alcohol, but your group is welcome to bring your own for a special group function if you desire.

These add-on amenities take the guest experience to the next level for you and your participants. All add-on services are subject to teacher availability and scheduling. The sooner we know you are interested in an add-on for your group the more likely we will be able to schedule.
