About the Retreat
Perimenopause and menopause can feel like a wild ride that you’re not quite prepared to take. This retreat is designed as a nurturing space to pause, reconnect with yourself, and embrace this time of life for its transformative potential, purpose, and power.
Led by a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and an Ayurvedic Medicine Practitioner–both long-time, experienced yoga and meditation teachers–you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the hormonal/physiologic changes that occur during midlife along with integrative strategies for managing common symptoms. Daily movement, meditation, and breathwork sessions support s stress reduction, resilience, and overall well-being in a serene mountain setting so you can integrate into your day-to-day life with knowledge, renewed strength and self-compassion.
Together in community, we’ll explore evolving perspectives on the roles of women in our families and society, honoring midlife as an empowering time we step into our next iteration.
You are invited to join for the weekend only or to stay for an additional day, leaving on Monday, March 1st. The extra program day will focus on reclaiming sexuality and optimal sexual function during the perimenopause/menopause transition. We will address common issues including loss of libido, pain or discomfort during intercourse, relationship transitions and physical changes that impact sexuality.
