Seane Corn on the Real Work of the Activist

Mindful Living, Social Engagement

Seane Corn has been a social activist and yogi for more than three decades, and, as much benefit as she has brought through her work, she has also made mistakes and caused some pain and trauma — for herself and others.

From this experience, she has an important message for those who become inspired to help the world — especially those who are involved in contemplative disciplines such as yoga.

If you have the aspiration to be genuinely helpful, I encourage you to pause and have a look at the video below, which was filmed at last year’s Wisdom in Action conference at SMC.

Shambhala Mountain Center hosts Yoga, Purpose, and Action Leadership Intensive with Seane Corn, Hala Khouri and Suzanne Sterling August 7–12, 2016 — click here to learn more
