The Art of Deep Rest: A Winter Retreat

February 13–15, 2026

Meditation & Mindfulness, On Land Retreats, Yoga & Wellness

Program Start Date & Time: 5:30 pm MT on Feb 13th, 2026

Program End Date & Time: 12:00 pm MT on Feb 15th, 2026

This retreat focuses on the practice of deep rest, a form of lying-down guided relaxation that rejuvenates your body and mind (also known as non-sleep deep rest- NSDR- or yoga nidra).

The term non-sleep deep rest, coined by Stanford neuroscientist Andrew Huberman, refers to a waking state of deep relaxation that maintains awareness. Evidence suggests reaching this state through deep rest protocols such as yoga nidra can reset dopamine levels and provide other physical and mental health benefits — including better sleep and enhanced neuroplasticity and creativity.

We’ll go on an inner journey together, with plenty of time for deep rest practice. This retreat will provide space and time for contemplation and reflection amidst a gorgeous Colorado mountain backdrop.

Together, we will:

  • Practice yoga nidra for restoration and rejuvenation.
  • Discover the connection between nondual meditation and yoga nidra for deepening meditation practice.
  • Reflect and reset
  • Dialogue and connect
  • Learn about the link between deep rest (NSDR) and better sleep.

Who is this retreat for?

  • Anyone who has an interest to deepen their connection with rest and meditation.

What will participants get out of this retreat?

  • Learn tools for practicing deep rest for nervous system reset, better sleep, mental health and spiritual insight.
