About the Retreat
Sadhana is a celebration — a party, even — and it’s worth naming what brings us to it: our own good karma, the brilliance of the teachings themselves, and the joy of sharing these treasures with each other.
We tend to talk about the Vajrayana path as a process of letting go — of negativity, of ego-clinging, of suffering. Let’s come at it from the other side. Let’s practice from our strength, our good fortune, our intelligence, and our determination, meeting the sublime with everything we already are, which paradoxically is sublime.
Bring forward your extraordinary capacity to practice alongside everyone present. Or, as the saying goes: get enlightened while having a good time.
Our text, The Concise Daily Practice of Padmasambhava is a hidden treasure, — a terma — holding every vital section of deity practice in just a few pages of vivid ritual.
