Heather and Cole are teaching on-land March 4-7: The Wisdom of Stillness: Yin and Restorative Yoga Teacher Training and Immersion (25 Yoga Alliance CEUs for yoga teachers!)
About the Program
Take a breath and step out of the daily rush into a space of pure stillness. The Wisdom of Stillness is an inviting 90-minute evening yoga practice designed to help you release deep tension, quiet a busy mind, and return to a feeling of whole-body harmony.
By merging the gentle, focused holds of Yin Yoga with the completely effortless, prop-supported comfort of Restorative Yoga, this practice creates a sanctuary for you to turn inward, soften resistance, and listen to the quiet intelligence of your body.
All levels are welcome for this yin and restorative yoga class.
Having items or yoga props to support you will all your body to drop into the practice with a touch more ease. If you don’t have actual yoga props, no worries! Items you find around your house will work just fine. We recommend having a yoga mat (this can be a blanket or dedicated practice area), one yoga bolster (or a few firm pillows / a rolled-up blanket or large towel / extra yoga mat / foam roller), two yoga blocks (or extra blankets / sturdy books / dense cushions/pillows), and at least two blankets though truly, the more the better. A few cozy extras include warm socks, a scarf, and eye pillow. Whatever helps you feel ready to rest.
