ONLINE: Strengthening the Heart of Happiness
September 22–October 13, 2025
Buddhist Path, Meditation & Mindfulness, Online Programs, Online Retreats
Begins: September 22nd
Last Session: October 13th
What does happiness mean to you?
How do you experience contentment?
What makes a meaningful life?
How do you support your well-being?
The Buddha gave us many teachings to help guide and support us in our everyday lives that remain just as vital now as 2,600 years ago. In these times of change and uncertainty, spiritual practice is a refuge, a strength, and a vital path for well-being.
Join us for this nourishing four-week series exploring enduring teachings and practices that open the heart and engage our lives with clarity, compassion, and perspective. We’ll focus specifically on the Brahma Viharas, known as the Divine Abodes, or the Immeasurables: powerful attributes of heart that when developed, transform greed, ill-will, and delusion into generosity, kindness, and wisdom. They include Lovingkindness, Compassion, Appreciative Joy, and Equanimity.
Each 90 minute session includes meditation, a dharma talk, and time to talk with each other. Everyone is welcome, both new and seasoned practitioners.
The heart is a gold field.
Plow it for a hundred generations
And it is never depleted.
Goodness is a perfect treasure.
Use it for a lifetime and
Some will still be left over. – Deng Shiru
