Julie Myers

Julie completed her first yoga training in 2012, after practicing for a year, she knew yoga was something she wanted to share. Julie fell in love with the grounded yet expansive feeling that she experienced with asana and meditation. Yoga practice has inspired her to grow and expand in ways she never imagined. It is this experience she hopes to share with her students. While working as a Physical Therapy Assistant, she began to weave yoga into her work and witnessed that healing calls for an integrated, multi-dimensional approach; one that allows us to see each other as whole no matter what challenge we are taking on. She is grateful to be a full time yoga teacher, yoga teacher trainer, and Ayurvedic Practitioner.

Julie trained with Siva Power Yoga in Wichita, KS where she earned her 200 hour certification and has continued her education through Inner Peace Yoga Therapy earning a 300 hour certification, where she learned how to apply the therapeutic benefits of yoga for chronic pain, anxiety, depression, addiction, cancer and grief. She has also completed Warriors at Ease Level 1 training diving deeper into the human stress response, the nervous system, and the neuroscience of trauma. In 2020, after years of practicing Ayurveda, she began to pursue studies at the California College of Ayurveda. She is an Ayurvedic Practitioner  pursuing certification as an Ayurvedic Clinical Specialist, with a focus on women’s health. In 2024, she completed training for Ayurvedic body therapies including Abhyanga and Shirodhara.
