
Grandmaster Steve Wolk
GM Steve is the founder of Philippine Integrated Martial Arts (PIMA) Denver, an organization teaching Doce Pares eskrima in the Denver area. Founded in 1995, it has produced more than 15 black belt instructors, many of which are teaching in the Denver area. He started his eskrima training in 1985, has achieved the rank of 10th degree black belt, and was the first non-Filipino to be named Grandmaster in the Doce Pares System of eskrima by SGM Dionisio “Diony” Cañete and SGM Arnulfo “Dong” Cuesta. He is 7-time World Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation (WEKAF) World Champion, with titles in both full-contact sparring and forms over six different World Championships. He is the current President of WEKAF International, was the head International Technical Official (ITO) at the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games form the sport of arnis in Manila, Philippines in 2019, and the Head Arbitrator for the 2023 SEA Games in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
