March 29, 2026
Meditation & Mindfulness, Online Programs, The Natural World
Program Start Date & Time: March 29th 10:00 am
Program End Date & Time: March 29th 12:00 pm
This morning online program will be an experiential introduction to the on-land Mindfulness and Non-Duality in Nature, and a chance to meet Johann. This way of approaching meditation involves dropping any effort to do or attain, and just resting, relaxing, into presence. Understanding that we are always aware, but usually lost in what we are aware of, we go directly to being knowingly aware, and abide in that. This is a very simple way of meditating, but the challenge is that we are usually so attached to the content of experience (thoughts, feelings, sensations, sights, sounds, etc.) we continually forget that we are the awareness that knows them, not the something that is known. This meditation helps to gradually see through the identification that I am my thoughts, or I am my feelings, or I am anything other than just “I Am”. This realization is peace and freedom.
Being in nature is an incredible way to do this, as all of nature is knowingly resting in awareness, without a mind getting in the way, and we naturally love nature and its beauty, and open to it. This summer retreat will be a wonderful chance to explore being in nature without effort or strain, allowing our natural presence and nature’s beauty to shine together. The retreat is open to everyone, regardless of prior experience, who wants to connect more deeply to nature, and to themself.
This free introduction to NonDuality is a chance to get to know Johann Robbins before his seven day nature retreat at Drala at the end of the summer. He will offer a guided meditation, followed by a short talk, and then time for Q&A. All are welcome.
You can join and leave anytime between 10 and noon, but it will be easier to flow with the teaching if you start on time.
