On Land Retreats

At Drala, we are deeply committed to offering inclusive and transformative programs that inspire personal growth, cultivate inner peace, and support meaningful practice. To honor this commitment, we offer tuition-free Foundations Programs such as Meditation for Beginners, Buddhism for Beginners, Back to the Cushion and Retreat & Renewal.

Are you looking to start a meditation practice but don’t know where to begin? This immersive three-day retreat is designed to introduce beginners to the foundations of meditation in a supportive and serene environment. Through guided instruction, gentle movement, and silent practice, participants will learn how to cultivate mindfulness and deepen their connection to the present moment.

Throughout the weekend, experienced teachers will offer step-by-step guidance on breath awareness, posture, and relaxation techniques. Group discussions and Q&A sessions provide a space to ask questions and share insights, while designated periods of silence allow for a more personal exploration of meditation. Nourishing meals, peaceful surroundings, and a welcoming community help create an atmosphere of rest and renewal.

No prior experience is necessary—just an open heart and a willingness to explore. Whether you are brand new to meditation or looking to refresh your practice, this retreat offers a gentle and inspiring introduction to the path of mindfulness.
