Fall Take Down 2015

Open Dates

Join us as we dismantle our summer campus and prepare the land for winter. Work hard, meditate, participate in workshops and classes, make new friends and integrate your spiritual practice into everyday life.

Your schedule will include six and a half hours of work each day, six days a week. In exchange, you will receive meals and live in a tent village. You will have access to meditation instruction and daily group sittings, evening classes and other activities. You will earn $100 program credit for each week of work, which can be used to attend almost any program at the Center during the next two years.

The minimum stay is one week, however we prefer that you commit for several weeks or the entire program. We are located at an altitude of 8,000 feet so the physical work can be very demanding and rigorous. Please consider this before applying.

Arrival and departure days are Sundays. Please plan to arrive by 5:00pm on and depart on Sundays only. Please take care when filling out the registration form to select accurate arrival and departure dates!

If you have questions, please email takedown@shambhalamountain.org.
