Tara Mitchell
Tara Mitchell is a second generation Western Buddhist whose parents were students of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. She has had the good fortune to connect with and receive instruction from some remarkable Tibetan masters – principally Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche and Thrangu Rinpoche. It took her some time to find her own way onto the path which was ignited during a month long meditation program.
Tara has been practicing for 17 years now in the Kagyü and Nyingma lineages of Tibetan Buddhism. One of her primary inspirations is to help sustain the rich lineage of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche through teaching and other activities. When Tara’s not meditating, she enjoys mentoring, spending time in nature and exploring the world through birding excursions. She currently resides in Boulder, Colorado.
