‎About the Retreat

Our Drala Mountain Center Winter Residency invites remote workers to live, work, and practice in the Colorado Rockies. While it’s not a retreat or a break from your job, it’s a change in rhythm, pace, and environment. Bring your laptop, your projects, and your curiosity. Here, work blends with stillness, community, and the natural beauty of mountain life.

Here, you can log in to work by day and step into silence, meditation, community events, or star-filled skies by night.

What’s Included:

• Reliable high-speed Wi-Fi suitable for video calls and remote work
• Private lodging with stunning natural surroundings
• Access to practice spaces
• Three meals a day (omnivore, vegetarian, vegan, and wheat-free options)
• Bi-weekly linen and sheet service
• 24-hour laundry access (detergent available in the gift store)
• Two scheduled dishwashing shifts
• Optional participation in community meditations, practice sessions, and seasonal events

Life in the Mountains

Drala Mountain Center is located about one hour from the nearest city, Fort Collins.

You’ll be living close to nature, so come prepared for mountain weather and limited supply runs.

Recommended Packing:

• Warm, layered clothing and snow gear
• Waterproof boots and traction spikes
• Headlamp or flashlight
• Reusable water bottle
• Toiletries, medications, and personal essentials
