Many women spend their lives focused on satisfying the needs of others in work, family, and friendships. Aging can bring many challenges, but can also be an opportunity to move beyond these roles and demands and to make intentional choices that better align with who they are now. Join psychotherapists Karen K. Moon and Debra Krumholz as they guide you with warmth, humor, and insights to explore, experiment, and slow down. By utilizing guided meditations, journaling, and group discussions, you leave with greater self-compassion and more clarity for what you want to let go of and what you want to hold on to and nourish. This workshop is intended for women at midlife and beyond who are seeking more meaning, authenticity, and connection in their third act of life.

What did past participants say about this retreat?
“This was a very powerful, very positive experience that exceeded my expectations (which were kind of high to start with!). The instructors, Karen Moon and Debra Krumholz, were excellent teachers and discussion facilitators who fostered an atmosphere of mutual trust, appreciation and growth. The materials and activities served the course’s purpose very well. The topics and activities were very well sequenced and paced, with lots of variety – the time was managed really well to keep our interest, attention and energy up. They somehow managed to move us in a timely, unrushed way through a lot of material while also allowing for plenty of discussion and adapting to the group’s input – it was an excellent balance of structure and flexibility…. the warm dynamic between the two of them contributed to the overall positive vibe.” ~Carol, 61
“The facilitators were excellent. They did a fabulous job of creating a safe space for us to be vulnerable very quickly and were able to balance providing content with letting the wisdom in the room speak. And their ability to be inclusive and hear all the participants was outstanding. They modeled the values of openness, curiosity and kindness. I came away with a great deal to work on and think about as well as a direction to move in; all of which is what I wanted.” ~Amy, 60
“(This workshop) overdelivered for me. it made me realize what I was missing in my life and what I need to change in order to ensure my third act is the best act yet! Karen and Debra are fabulous and I consider myself blessed to have spent this time with them.” ~Joan, 59
