SMC has received an incredible offering at our time of need. Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche has donated one of his paintings, Infinite Wish, to Shambhala Mountain Center in order to support fire relief and rebuilding.

You may bid on the painting here, or via the “bid on item” link at the bottom of this page, starting Tuesday, December 15th through 9 am on Tuesday, December 22nd. The starting bid is $4,000, and all proceeds from the highest bidder will support Shambhala Mountain Center, a 501(c)3 educational nonprofit.

Infinite Wish is part of Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche’s collection E Ma Ho!. Oil on Canvas 60″ x 48″. Retail value $8,000.

About Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche:

Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche is recognized as an incarnation of Jamgon Kongtrul Lodro Thaye, a great scholar and meditation master in 19th century Tibet. Rinpoche is known for his uncompromising integrity, deep conviction in altruism, and insistence that all beings can awaken to their own enlightened nature. Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche was the first holder of the World Wisdom Chair at Naropa, and is the founder of Mangala Shri Bhuti. He has written eight books, is a passionate abstract painter, and integrates his practice and his life. “Isn’t that the goal of the spiritual path?” Rinpoche often asks.
