Women’s Summer Meditation and Yoga Retreat
Katharine Kaufman
July 27–31, 2022
Tuition $285 + 4 nights
Our bodies hold emotions, images, patterns, and stories. When we inhabit our bodies through mindfulness practices, we come to know ourselves as complete and wakeful beings. During this rejuvenating program, we will play with the four postures of meditation, practice nourishing yoga, and retreat in the forests, fields, and groves of Drala Mountain Center. Through sitting meditation, we will contemplate the nature of Way-Seeking Mind, the tender under-world of our being. Our practice and insight will deepen through silent periods, and our community will develop understanding and trust through conversation.
This retreat takes place in a scenic pavilion among the pine trees—an indoor/outdoor space.
Participation is limited to a small group of women. Trans women, genderqueer women, and female-identified non-binary people are welcome.
Please review and understand DMC’s current COVID-19 policy before visiting DMC.
