Peace and Freedom: A Weeklong Meditation Retreat
December 13–20, 2024
Immersive Meditation Retreats, Meditation & Mindfulness, On Land Retreats, Personal Transformation
Peace and freedom are our birthright, innate to the nature of our minds. Yet they’ve often been overrun by stress, speed, emotional injuries, and the habitual patterns of turmoil that become the state of our world. We can always come home and reclaim our natural state together, and meditation retreat is a traditional and profound support to do so. We make peace with ourselves and rest through shamatha meditation; grounding, clarifying, and strengthening as we do, and set our minds free through the liberating insight of vipashyana meditation. In the process, we can rejuvenate, heal, process, and open. In this retreat we will:
- Practice at least 4 – 6 hours a day of meditation in a gentle and supportive setting
- Have time for rest and to enjoy nature
- Learn much more about shamatha and vipashyana meditation
- If we choose, have individual sessions with an experienced teacher
- Learn how to heal stuck emotions, progress in our meditation, and strengthen our practice
- Learn and practice a simple, brief, yoga exercise that’s meant to clear our bodies and assist meditation
