May 5–7, 2017
Personal Transformation, Yoga, Wellness & Embodied Living
Buddhism and addiction recovery paths share a basic premise: attachment causes suffering.
This retreat will explore connections between the Twelve Steps, the Four Noble Truths, and the Eightfold Path. With periods of mindfulness meditation, lecture, discussion, and interactive exercises, we will deepen our spiritual path of recovery and expand our understanding of clinging and its cause.
- Deepen your meditation practice
- Expand your understanding of recovery and addiction through a Buddhist lens
- Explore traditional Buddhist teachings
Morning and afternoon sessions include sitting meditation, Q&A, lecture, and interactive exercises. Saturday evening includes an open recovery meeting.
