Grounded in the profound contemplation of basic goodness from the Shambhala tradition and the gentle stability provided by sitting meditation, over the course of this retreat we will engage with each other around our own experiences of exclusion/inclusion, privilege, and difference. Using exercises specifically designed to keep us in our bodies and dialogue to keep us connected with each other, we will explore our stories, assumptions, and biases associated with who we are and who we are perceived to be. You will come away from this weekend with a deeper understanding and appreciation of how each of us is different and that that difference is our strength.
Previous experience with meditation is strongly encouraged.
