Enlightened Leadership: Lessons from the I Ching with Shastri Daniel Hessey
April 20–22, 2012
Many local and global organizations are in crisis today. There’s a growing sense that established measures of success such as perpetual growth, political influence, and profitability are insufficient for creating organizations that endure and promote well-being for their participants and environment. The ancient Chinese were deeply engaged in understanding what a truly integral organization looks like, and their insight was preserved in the seminal I Ching texts.
Using Dan Hessey’s remarkable translation of the I Ching as a basis for exploring enlightened leadership, this program will provide an inspiring journey into how we can lead organizations to become healthy and wise. Participants will gain a deepened understanding of the role of leadership and tools to apply that understanding in their life and work. Meditation instruction included. No experience in Chinese philosophy or language required.
