Fearless Creativity: A Meditation & Writing Retreat with Susan Piver
April 13–16, 2012
Writing connects us to the undercurrents of wisdom that lie just below the surface of discursive thought. It puts us in touch with timely insights, concerns, ideas and our natural wakefulness. If you want to share yourself with others, writing can be your vehicle. If you long for creative self-expression, writing can give it form. In this program, we will deepen our relationship with the written word through meditation practice, journaling, discussions and personal writing time. Please note that though we will have plenty of group interaction, the emphasis will be on unguided time alone, writing. Writers of all genres, published or unpublished, are welcome.
Susan Piver is a New York Times best-selling author of five books and a frequent contributor to Shambhala Sun. Her latest book is The Wisdom of a Broken Heart. Susan has been authorized to teach meditation in the Shambhala Buddhist lineage since 2006.
