Shambhala Mountain Center is offering financial assistance to 5 individuals who would not otherwise be able to attend this retreat. The application deadline for the scholarship is August 1, 2018.

The scholarship seat will offer retreat attendance, shared tent accommodations, meals for a total cost of $195 to be paid by the participant.

Eligibility

Financial need serves as the primary basis for determining eligibility. The table below determines your eligibility but does not guarantee financial assistance.

If your household income exceeds the amounts listed above and you still need financial aid, please explain why you should be considered.

Additional Information

Shambhala Mountain Center recommends that people seek financial support for retreats from The Offering Bowl. The offering bowl is a crowd-funding site dedicated to helping raise funds for retreat costs from a worldwide network of fellow practitioners. Additionally, Shambhala Mountain Center strongly encourages all financial aid applicants to seek financial support for program fees from as many sources as possible.

*Lodging and Costs

Award recipients will stay in Tent Double accommodations. The cost for these accommodations for the duration of the retreat is $195.  Subsidized rate for this program is also available, should all spots be filled or in the case one is ineligible for full scholarship. The total cost for that is $445. No other discount codes may be applied.

To Apply and Register

First, fill out and submit your Financial Aid application.  If you are awarded financial aid, you will be notified by Shambhala Mountain Center.  At that time you will be sent a link to the registration page.  Please use that registration link to complete your registration for the program.
